Join us as we explore The Fowler Museum in two separate tours, and experience UCLA’s treasure trove of traditional and contemporary works from Africa, Asia, the Pacific and the Americas. Gallery educators will lead you through Nick Cave: Meet Me at the Center of the Earth, the largest presentation of work by the Chicago-based artist, featuring thirty-five multi-layered, mixed-media “Soundsuits.” Or see how far we’ve come at Art, Activism, Access: 40 Years of Ethnic Studies at UCLA, a lively display of murals, graphic art, films, ephemera and photographs that capture key moments in the storied history of UCLA’s Indian Studies Center, Asian American Studies Center, Bunche Center for African American Studies and Chicano Studies Research Center.
